Space news interactively for teaching

10. 11. 2021, 13:00-13:35

Would you like to show your pupils sometimes, in an interesting and impressive way, what is currently happening in space, how space technology is being used? For example, when the whole of the Czech Republic is going to watch the aurora borealis, or how we can follow the progress of a tornado in Moravia from a satellite?

ESA’s ESERO Education Office is preparing a programme of demonstrations of hot space news in the school curriculum. In addition to standard materials such as images, videos and animations, you will also have interactive worksheets and presentations. We will show you how to create them, and how to work with them in the classroom.

You can watch the lecture under the following link:  Space news interactively for teaching LIVE.

A recording will be available for viewing after the lecture here.

Presented by Martin Gembec and Petr Mareš from ESA ESERO / iQLandia, SCIENCE IN
