Space psychology: do astronauts need a psychologist?

9. 11. 2021, 11:00-11:35

Cosmic psychology is a fascinating area of applied science and basic research. Its goal is to maximize the probability that the crew will return from their time in space in good psychological well-being and will accomplish all planned mission tasks at optimum performance. It also focuses on understanding the effect and impact on a small international crew in the isolation and constraints of a prolonged stay in the extremely challenging and hostile environment of space. This is what we will be discussing in our online session.
